Welcome to the Deeper Roots edge of the cyber world. For many years Rick Brockner's music has been played on radio world wide, yet it has been hard to find? The CD "fiddlin' With A Dulcimer continues to wow folks have not heard it before and Rick is busy working on new Dulcimer Tunes for a 2009 release. Now you not only can find and listen to some of Rick's music, but find out what's new! There is nothing new about saving the Earth with Rick as he has been at it since the early seventies. Rick really got his start when he joined The Hudson River Sloop Club's Beacon chapter headed by Pete Seeger. Rick began to learn first hand about the pollution we as a country were putting out into our everyday lives and the results there of. "We had been heating with wood for a while at my Dad's house and about this time I moved into a cabin with no heating save a pot belley stove. I started to garden and eat more a vegetarian diet and most important Recycle. Now living in the Foothills of the Blue Ridge all of Rick's experence is coming together in an effort to become as self contained as one can be, but still keep an eye on the bigger picture. In the future you will hear songs on this subject from Deeper Roots along with conversation in concert in an effort to get each of us to do what we can on a personal level.
